DANIJEL GAŠPAROVIĆ (Zagreb, 1988) earned his bachelor degree in Ljubomir Gašparović’s class and his master degree (piano performance) in class of Djordje Stanetti at the Music Academy of the University of Zagreb. He specialized his skills at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Pécs (Hungary) under guidance of pianist Csaba Kiraly. He is the winner of state, international and dean prizes, and was a scholar of the City of Zagreb.

As a soloist and a chamber musician, he performed at the Osor Musical Evenings, Hvar Summer Festival, Vinkovci Autumn Festival, in the Fortissimo concert series in Zagreb, Cristoforium series on historical pianos in Zagreb, Zagreb Piano Duo Festival, the Music Palette series in Zagreb, at Nei Suoni dei Luoghi festival in Italy, in Musica Maxima festival,May Music Evenings in Sibenik, Papandopuliana festival in Tribunj, Ohrid Summer Festival and Autumn Musical evenings in Macedonia, 32 Beethoven sonatas cycle in Zagreb, Chopin Piano Fest in Prishtina, concerts in Ljubljana, festivals in Dubrovnik, Losinj and many others. As a performer and organizer he participated in projects like 7in7for70, devoted to life and work by famous Croatian composer Dubravko Detoni, integral performances of complete Debussy's Preludes, a concert on the occasion of twenty years of Zagreb Boys Choir at the Mimara Museum, first ever performance of Beethoven’s 32 sonatas by chronical order in Croatia and others. He also has an active role in Croatian Society of Writers and at the opening of Croatian Literary Evenings as well as in many other projects.

He has also participated in the organizing of a piano instrument exhibition called the Ten Pianos at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in 2012, performing the works of Schubert and Saint-Saëns. From 2009 to 2014 he participated in organizing and leading the cycle of concerts of students of the Musical Academy in Zagreb, Virtuoso. He is actively engaged in organizational and productive work, so he collaborated on joint projects with the Concert Hall Vatroslav Lisinski, HRT, the Croatian Society of Musicians, the City of Zagreb, the Austrian Cultural Forum, numerous embassies and other partners. He collaborated with eminent orchestras and conductors such as the Zagreb Youth Orchestra under the guidance of Zlatan Srzić, Zagreb soloists led by Rober Lehrbaumera and others. He was actively trained at seminars by eminent artists (Peter Eicher, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Eugen Indjic, Snežana Anastasova Čadikovska, Boris Romanov, Ruben Dalibaltayan).

He participated in numerous television and radio shows. He won the Dean's Prize in 2010, and during his studies he was a scholar of the City of Zagreb.

Danijel Gašparović regularly performs with young artists like soprano Tanja Ruždjak and baritone Matija Meić, as well as with Nikola Kos in piano duo Kos-Gašparović and Krešimir Starčević in the piano duo Gašparović-Starčević and regularly performs with his father Ljubomir Gašparović in the piano duo Gašparović all over the country and abroad.

He won the Best Artistic Collaboration Award at Darko Lukic Competition in 2016.He is a piano teacher at the School of Arts, Design, Graphic and Clothing in Zabok, the executive and artistic director of the Artistic Organization Cristoforium, which organizes top-class concert series - Cristoforium, Svetislav Stančić’s Pleyel, Music Evenings in the Old City Hall, Musical River in city of Rijeka and a host of other important cultural and educational content and the Director and founder of the company CristoforiumArt for the management of artists and services in culture, representing some of the most respected local and international artists, organizes a number of respectable cultural events in cooperation with partners from Croatia and abroad. Together with his father Ljubomir, he is the owner of the largest and most valuable private collection of historical pianos in Croatia and beyond - the Danijel and Ljubomir Gašparović’s Piano Collection.
